About Us
The Thomas-Hines Educational Training Center was founded and incorporated by Dr. Sanders L Thomas. Dr. Thomas completed two Associates Degrees in Information Management and Education and Training Management from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelors Degree in Computer Aided Drafting, Alabama A. & M. University, Masters degree in Industrial Technology (Career and Technology Education), Alabama A. & M. University and a Doctor of Education (Curriculum Leadership), Northeastern University. Dr. Thomas has also completed Project Management (Certificate), University of Alabama at Huntsville and is a Certified Grant Specialist, Dr. Thomas is a Senior Technical Support Engineer with a leading Software Developer and (retired) Knowledge Operations Manager with the Alabama Air National Guard. Dr. Thomas has demonstrated the ability to evaluate, implement and manage multiple projects and personnel in both the private and public sector. Education and Training, and Information Management with the Military, coupled with Civil Engineering, Drafting and Design and working as a Collegiate Instructor in the civilian world, totals over twenty-four years of experience. This experience has provided him with a broad knowledge of today’s industry, its needs, and what it takes to succeed in the marketplace. Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Legion, Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
